Mr. Dalimonte has a national reputation for his success pursuing civil actions involving complex products liability, toxic tort and mass tort. He has recovered substantial compensation for thousands of clients nationally against the pharmaceuticaland medical device industry.
Mr. Dalimonte serves as leader for a number of large scale mass torts including the Covidien Hernia Mesh Line of Products; and In re Cook Medical, Inc., IVC Filters Marketing, Sales Practices and Product Liability Litigation, U.S.D.C. Southern Dist, Indiana, Case No. 1:14-ml-2570, MDL No. 257. He was instrumental in bringing about claims against the medical device industry for the manufacture and sale of IVC filters which, to this day, have no established clinical benefit and ; and formerly the In Re Bard IVC Filter Products Liability Litigation, U.S.D.C., Arizona, Case No. 2:15-MD-02641, MDL No. 2641; and In re Consolidated Fresenius Cases, Middlesex Superior Court, C.A. No. 2013-03400.

Mr. Dalimonte has unique insight to his practice in the field of pharmaceutical and medical device. Early in his career, as the president of a closely held export company, he was invited by George H. W. Bush and the (then) Soviet Union to participate in a medical products trade mission to Moscow and Kiev. As part of this mission, Mr. Dalimonte represented his company in discussions with American and Soviet officials and with business leaders from around the world. He is also a former member of the Board of Trustees of University of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Mr. Dalimonte presently served on the board of directors for The Bridge Center a charitable organization that provides the opportunity for severely disabled and autistic children to attend therapeutic camp which has recently merged with the Easter Seals
Mr. Dalimonte has been invited to speak on a number of topics related to the field of mass tort, complex litigation, consolidated actions and products liability. Mr. Dalimonte has received many accolades from his peers and clients as one of the top lawyers in the country. Martindale-Hubbel awarded Mr. Dalimonte an AV rating after his peers ranked him as having the highest ethical standards and skill as an attorney. He has an Avvo rating of 10 Superb, is repeatedly selected on the lists of Massachusetts Super Lawyers since 2009 by Boston Magazine and received the Boston Globe Top Rated Lawyers award in 2015. Mr. Dalimonte is on the National Trial Lawyers Association’s list of Top 10 Trial Lawyers and has been offered Lifetime Charter Membership by Best Attorneys of America. He has been nominated to a number of other awards such as the Litigator award in 2015, the Million Dollar Advocate and Multi-Million Dollar Advocate.
Mr. Dalimonte is a 1989 graduate of the Marquette University Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review. He was awarded the Adolf I. Mendelker Scholarship for combined achievement in legal studies and community service and also received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the study of Civil Procedure. While an undergraduate, Mr. Dalimonte studied the British criminal justice system at Oxford University.
Mr. Dalimonte is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the United States Court of Claims. He maintains active membership in the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the American Association of Justice and the National Trial Lawyers Association.
